keeping busy

It is just after 7:00 PM and I want to eat. I did buy spinach and had it with vin. and oil. Boy did it taste good. But I think I could have eaten the whole bunch. I still want steak and salad. I guess I'm going to have to fix it after tues. weigh in. Dh doesn't like steak so I'm on my own.

I need to take fuzzy muffin for a walk but not sure I'm up to that yet. I left her out of her pen while I went to the mail drop. She was laying on the rug by the door when I got back. She didn't want me to leave but she was ok. I'll try it longer next time.

This is the week....I start my garden. Not able to get down and work the dirt but one of my farm books said to plant in the potting soil. Just poke holes in the bottom, put down paper or cardboard, put it on top and cut out the top(laying it down flat) and plant in the potting soil. Then mulch...My dh will do the heavy lifting...I will plant the cool weather veg. and when they are done, I will plant the hot weather plants in the same potting soil. It looked great in the book...hopefully it will work. I showed my dh a picture...he still hasn't gotten it right in his head. I should be funny trying to tell him what I want to do. The neighbors should get a laugh out of it.

Nothing on the tv tonight until 9 and then Castle comes on..sure like it...but it is going of for the summer so tonight is the last new one, I think.

The youngest ones are coming next week. Yah!!!!!!!!! Maybe they will walk and ex. with me.
Sure hope something is on the theatre next week, more fun to take them out for the evening.
Bailey will be in hog heaven! They are so good with her, and she can't get enough of them.
When Eman was here, Bailey got in his room(she sleeps in our room, with a kid gate up) dh forgot to put the gate up so he woke up with her licking his feet. We were surprised to find her in the pen then we figured Eman had taken care of her. He really put up with her...she was on him like flies on honey. She was his buddy for the week. She was so sad when she realized he was gone.

She seems to feel when I need a hug cause she gets up and will love me till she thinks I'm ok. I think she missed being able to be held like a baby so she drapes over my shoulder and the rest of her is on the floor. She gets up on dh but my chair is smaller and she is too big for that.

Hopefully the munchies are over...tomorrow is another day.

This morning as I finished putting on my makeup I noticed that my left eye(the white) looked funny. As I looked closer it looked like I had broken a blood vessel. I watched as it took over the white of my eye from the outside to the inside. Looks kind of bad but doesn't hurt. I hadn't watch my eye(or anything)bleed. I t never ran out of my eye and finally stopped. It didn't change the way I see, so guess it will be ok.

I really need a girls day out, doing nothing but laughing and acting silly. Maybe garage sales...that is always good. My dh is uptight about his job. One guess who gets slammed.

My eye is now feeling like it has something in it...at the outside corner. I guess it is swollen from all the blood. I need to take a picture cause by the time anyone sees it it will be gone.

Scarlet, here I come. I will think about it tomorrow.

I'm still here

Is it spring fever or just the dumb dumbs. I have been in a funk all day. Doing another plate for a lady, I like to do them but just had a hard time getting started. It was t-shirt material. It takes time and you have to be careful not to stretch it. But it does work if you don't rush it.

I fixed the missionaries supper, I try not to fix the same thing but it difficult. Especially since I don't cook meals till Thursday nite. They are so gracious and never let on if they don't care for it.
We are so blessed to have them!

I'm getting ready for taxes. I really hate the government at this time. All the fat cats living high of the hog and the little people eat grub. Where is the justice? I know there isn't any justice in this life.

It is cold and wet today....really want to start planting. Maybe when I have the younger ones here in April we can have some fun planting. Sure hope it is nice when they are here, then we can get out and find some different thing to do.

Thank goodness Bailey is nice to me, she only wants out when she is serious. She gets to go to the beauty shop tomorrow, she loves to get pretty. She is such a girl.

Sure want a steak and salad...that isn't going to happen. Oh well.

As Scarlet says...I'll think about it tomorrow.

Saturday

Well I am on my way. Slept till 10:oo , that is not what you do if you want to get anything done.

Have to make something to take to our pot luck dinner for church. Trying a new salad that you freeze, it has 2 cans of strawberry pie filling, pineapple , eagle brand, coolwhip, sure hope it tastes good.

I also am baking a bd cake for Renita. It will be my own design. Right away I can see the thoughts of all the other cakes I have done that were lets say were funny or strange might come to mind. But they are always made with love. Sure hope that counts for something.

So good to have Eman here. Such a treat! Plus he is coming to church and to the pot luck. He hasn't been there since I used to juggle him on my knee. Sure will be nice to have everyone meet him. I am so proud of the young man he has become. My heart still yearns for the little boy that I used to get to kiss. Can't say that would go over very big now. But still get hugs and that is good.


I get the 4 youngest here the first part of April. YAH. They are always fun and maybe we can get the neighbers 3 to join in some of the fun. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

spring break

Great news! Eman has come for a visit. I am so thankful that he still wants to come. Now to try to figure out what to do so he doesn't get bored. He is also so even tempered that it is hard to tell if he is having fun. Right now Bailey has him entertained. You know how she is with kids. She thinks she is in Heaven with someone else here!
Well off to my meeting,I know that it isn't going to be good news. No matter what I do it is always the same UG.

Hello in blog land. My dd saved my blog from I don't know what. It was one of the games that I had put on...so much for my adventures.
She also helped me pick out another pattern. To difficult for me, even when I watched her do it.
So glad she didn't get my "its to difficult for me gene."
My hands are cold and my feet are numb, my body is ready for spring, a long one!
